I’m already calling it MY house – we actually close in a few weeks. But anyway – we know it’s ours and we’re ready to make it ours.
Anyway – my point is… This is the biggest house we have ever owned. It’s also the most expensive. It costs more than our first and second house put together. This freaks me out. It’s a huge expense. This house is also 900 sq ft bigger than our last house. So we have a LOT of room and we have been coming up with so many ways to use this extra room.
1. We have a 4th bedroom for guests! This is wonderful in itself – we can’t wait to have guests.
2. We have 2 basement rooms that are finished:

One is a utility room with a whole wall of built in storage shelves. I realized today that I can go to COSTCO now!!! The condo we’re in now is tiny – we can’t go to Costo because there’s no room for anything extra. But now I don’t have to worry about where all the stuff will go – I have a COSTCO room!!!!!

One is a huge study/office space that my husband has claimed as his “Man Cave” – and I’m all for it. He wanted to start a men’s group with our church and the Man Cave would be the perfect place for guys to meet – it’s removed from the rest of the house and I have given hubby the go ahead to decorate it any way he wants.
3. We have so much living space to work with. We also feel that God has a child for us – maybe two. We have two beautiful girls, but we know we have room in our hearts and our family for more children. We talk about adopting or fostering children. We love children, we know God will reveal that in His timing.
We’re going to be so blessed by this house. And we give God all the glory…. :^)
