House – Sold….

I just got a comment from a real estate agent about my FSBO troubles and I realized that I never posted the status – we sold our home and got a really great price for it, we are very happy and the buyers couldn’t be more excited – they are adorable and so cute – it’s their first house and I have to say….it is a VERY nice starter home!
We closed 2 days ago and the move has begun. I am in Wyoming now and husband is on his way with the Uhaul. We will build our dream house next spring…..GOD IS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!
Daily Bread – A Narrative….

I looked back at a few of my ‘daily bread’ entries an I was really impressed with my prayers. Is it bad to have pride about my prayers??? Anyway, I needed to read the prayers of praise and thanks. And looking back gives me a calm and a peace – that I made it through some bad times, some good times, really great things are happening, prayers are being answered daily.
I have bad days. I am trying hard to think about good things when the bad days happen. It’s so simple but yet, so hard to do sometimes when I really want to wallow a little bit. But then I remember: I am STRIKING. I am BEAUTIFUL. I can do ANYTHING. And the best part: God is still on the throne. I can do anything THROUGH GOD WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
Life is so good, we are blessed daily – just to be sitting at this computer at midnight in my underwear and typing out my life….
- ….in my house
- ….with a full stomach
- ….with healthy children
- ….with a few dollars in the bank
- ….with a wonderful job
- ….with a more wonderful church family
- ….and I am a beloved child of God.
How can I complain when I am so blessed? Why focus on bad things in the past – it only blocks our ability to see the real blessings and gifts in our life. I have a LOT of bad stuff I could stew on. But I CHOOSE not to. God is on the throne. Amen.
